When the face of Epic, Mr. Cliffy B, stated that their next project would be vastly different from the Gears of War series, and from anything else they’d done, the gaming world scoffed at such nonsense, but it turns out that Epic were speaking the truth as they’ve just announced Fortnite, a game which does indeed look radically different from what we would expect to see from them.

Judging by the trailer, which contains no gameplay footage, what we’re in for is a zombie/monster survival game where you can construct defenses and presumably lop of some heads.

Currently Fortnite has no release date.
