A new game starring the famous giant ape has been leaked by Amazon Spain. Skull Island Rise of Kong appeared on Amazon Spain for Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S with a release date of December 31st, which is probably a placeholder.
The listing, which hasn’t been taken down at the time of writing, was spotted by Gematsu.

A quick run through a translator reveals that the game is a 3rd person action-adventure title where you “conquer waves of primal beasts” in a bid to defeat Gaw, the king of the Skullrunners.
No developer was listed but we do know its being published by GameMill Entertainment. The companies resume of titles is not hugely promising, including such things as Nerf Legends, Nick Kart Racers 3 and American Ninja Warrior.
The screenshots don’t exactly indicate a high-quality licensed title either, but maybe these warning signs will be for nothing and we’ll actually get a fun little King Kong game.
